How He Loves Us!
reallifesm:
Last night, a group of our Real Life students led their peers in worship at Franklin High School’s Open Mic Night. They led “How He Loves”, and by the end of it, the entire auditorium was standing with many lifting their hands in worship!
It was incredible to see these students take a stand for Christ and be unashamed to praise His name in their public school! God is doing a...

4 Years
4 years sounds like a long time to a youngish 26 year old like myself. And it is. Time is a fickle though, a dichotomy of sorts: fast but slow, flying by behind you while simultaneously seeming so long and distant ahead of you.
My marriage to this incredible woman has been both fast and slow. The past four years have seemed to fly by as we’ve loved, laughed, and lived together intimately...

May the 4th Be With You
Happy unofficial Star Wars day! May the 4th be with you :)
This original Star Wars work by the Brothers Hildebrandt prior to the movie debuting in 1977. Love me some vintage movie poster artwork, brings me back to watching Star Wars for the first time as a kid.
As an added bonus, check out these sweet minimalist Star Wars planet posters by Justin Van Genderen.
On the Death of Osama bin Laden...
Just found out Osama bin Laden has been killed and have been struck with a few thoughts upon seeing the rejoicing going on in reaction to the news.

Don’t rejoice when your enemies fall; don’t be happy when they stumble. For the Lord will be displeased with you and will turn his anger away from them.

The Life of a Seed
The basic contents of last nights message roughly adapted from my notes. Hope it encourages you today!

John 12:23-28…
Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose...

NEW... a new life and a new thing
I had the privilege of sharing a message with the students at Full Life’s Real Life Student Ministries last Wednesday. Here’s the basic content of it roughly adapted from my notes, hope it encourages you today.

For something to become NEW it cannot retain any amount of what it once was. It’s not a transition, it’s a transformation. It’s not evolutionary...
